Today I am pleased to announce my endorsement of Ed Gillespie for Governor in 2017. Ed is putting forward a bold policy agenda based on the solid conservative principles of limited governance, personal liberty, and economic freedom.
Ed’s plan to cut income tax rates by 10 percent across-the-board will spark strong economic growth across Virginia. Cutting taxes will help small businesses and put more money in the pockets of working families. We know that government can and should spend less, and the citizens of Virginia know best how their hard-earned income should be spent. As a member of the House Finance Committee, I look forward to working with Ed to help cut tax rates in our Commonwealth and stimulate economic growth.
I am confident that Ed will lead a unified Republican ticket to victory this November. With a Republican governor signing bills passed by the General Assembly, we will be able to enact the conservative policies that Virginia needs to get back on track.
