On Friday afternoon, we shared the exciting news that the campaign RV was hitting the road:
That evening Ed arrived at the Giles County GOP’s 5th Annual Stafford-Morris Dinner where he won their straw poll with an astounding 74% of the vote.
The next morning we were on the Drillfield at Virginia Tech with the College Republicans who were getting ready to participate in The Big Event, a campus-wide community service day.
Next, we stopped by the Augusta Expo Center to visit the Augusta Gun Show and talk Second Amendment rights with Valley voters.
From there we made our way to Harrisonburg for lunch at Jess’ and some ice cream at Kline’s Dairy Bar.
Next, we visited the Home & Garden Show at the Rockingham County Fairgrounds.
Then, we stopped by the Northern Shenandoah Valley Motorcycle Expo in Woodstock.
We wrapped up the day at the Loudoun County Republican Committee’s Jamboree, where Ed spoke with voters and won their straw poll with 76% of the vote. Ed also won the Bland County GOP straw poll although unfortunately we couldn’t be there in person, we were well-represented!
