The Associated Builders and Contractors – Virginia Chapter today endorsed Republican gubernatorial nominee Ed Gillespie in the 2017 Virginia governor’s race. The announcement reflects the broad support Gillespie has earned in his campaign for his pro-growth economic policy agenda.
Speaking about the announcement, Ed Gillespie said, “The Associated Builders and Contractors have great appreciation for the policies that will get our economy growing again, including protecting our right to work laws and removing regulatory barriers that will allow our small businesses to thrive, and I am proud to have earned their support today. As governor, I’ll work to expand apprenticeship and trade programs so that we can strengthen workforce and restore Virginia’s rightful place as one of the fastest growing economies in the country.”
