I look forward to working with him on behalf of the residents of Virginia Beach.”

Ed Gillespie said of the announcement, “I’m honored to earn the endorsement of Mayor Sessoms. Virginia Beach’s success is integral to the Commonwealth’s success. We must continue to promote economic growth and serve those Virginians who call the area home. I’ll work with Mayor Sessoms, and all of our local leaders, to advance policies at the state and local levels of government that make life better for all Virginians.”
